Coronavirus (COVID-19) and Marketers
Coronavirus has proved that Marketers can come out stronger during any tough time by implementing the correct strategies.
Who would have ever thought the day would come where we would lose the privilege of going outside and enjoying our simple, casual daily tasks?
Schools are closing, major sporting and cultural events are being postponed or canceled, it is an unsettling time.
On the work front, the virulence of Coronavirus is causing employers/marketers and employees to consider their rights and obligations to each other.
Workers whether permanent, temporary, or casual are here to preserve their likelihood while protecting their health. Employers are keen to ensure the integrity of their businesses and organizations.
An employer does have an obligation on its part to protect its employees and keep its employees healthy and safe in the work environment.
If there is evidence that an employee has traveled from an affected country, and that employee is showing very recent signs of Coronavirus symptoms such as fever, flu, dry cough, etc…
That employer can very well ask that employee and indeed force that employee to stay home!
It is an interesting and scary time to be alive!
Coronavirus has shockingly slowed our lives, destroyed many businesses and Marketers’ ambitions, had us all trapped at our houses thinking how unexpected this is and how we were not prepared for it at all.
Big businesses are losing big money and people working in factories, manufacturers, companies are all being laid off. But, what about Marketers and those working from home, running an online blog/website, and content creators.
Is it going to impact traffic volume? Or is it a time to seize every opportunity and grow your business bigger and better than ever.

3 strategies to come out stronger
1. Create more content
Create way more content. I know Lots of successful entrepreneurs like Gary Vee have said this. There is a ton of opportunities out there for those who are willing to rise to the occasion and create a whole lot more content.
For marketers, it is very much supply and demand when it comes to Social Media algorithms and all the content platforms in that as long as people are willing to be consuming the content plus taking it all in.
This is a great indication of a huge amount of demand and the supply despite the fact that there is a ton of people creating content.
There is always room for more if you are creating valuable and relevant content specific to the type of audience or specific to the market/niche that you are seeking to.
Right now, more than any time in history, people are stuck at home and basically running out of stuff to do.
People are consuming all these media of which most of it is negative this means that you have a chance here to go out there and create some impressive, positive content.
I am going to lower the bar on what is acceptable content right now just in favor of you getting even more content out there.
If you want to spread your message to a targeted audience. This can be done through blog posts, YouTube videos, social media posts, or starting a podcast.
2. Evaluate your marketing
You want to strip down your marketing to the bare bones and make sure that you are focusing on the right thing and you are giving the right metric the appropriate respect it deserves.
Essentially, the reason that a lot of people complain that marketing doesn’t work or a specific strategy didn’t work it is because they were using the wrong tool for the job or they were giving something more value than what it deserves.
I want to make sure that you understand the value of each kind of metric that your marketing could be achieved for you.
The very first thing and this is where most people start, and most people go so wrong. Marketing is all about impressions which is CPM essentially how much does it cost you to reach a thousand people.
It is the lowest common denominator because rarely should the sole focus of your marketing efforts be simply to reach more people.
Make sure you are reaching the right people, driving action, and getting sufficient leads.
People go wrong when they run these massive brand awareness campaigns, and no one buys. When in reality they are just focusing on the wrong metric.
It is a phenomenal time to invest in tech. Engineers can code from anywhere and they need to work. They do not need to be at your house or at your office.
They can be coding from across the globe. It is the right time to get a lot of jobs with tech. today, a better price for us than ever because they need some jobs today.
That was a quick update to help ensure you achieve the best results for your marketing and traffic volume. I hope you find this article helpful as it was solely dedicated to marketers, bloggers, online business owners,
and in fact, anyone that wants to leverage this priceless time during Coronavirus to benefit himself and others.
