Whether you are a business owner or a Blogger, one thing we all have in common is an online website that is striving the business to get more visitors/customers.
In my case as a Blogger. Ranking a post that I’ve spent more than 2 hours writing and editing is a success mark in my career. Because it shows that all my hard work is paying off.
Now this wasn’t the case just a while ago, where no matter how much I promoted my latest blog on Social Media I wasn’t getting many new visitors and exposure. Until I discovered the best strategy to rank my blog post using tips and tricks that I’m going to share with you in a bit!
If you have been blogging for a while you know that if only one post ranks well, it affects the overall performance of your website leading more new visitors and subscribers which ultimately triggers SEO making your website recognised more by google.

SEO stand for search engine optimization and it is a process that optimizes a website, so it performs extremely well in organic search. As simple as that!

Keywords are the most important when it comes to ranking. The strategy that I use, is to write down the keyword queries that got the most impressions on GSC (Google Search Console) and use it in my article. Make sure it is thorough and flows easily.

Long content tends to rank better than short content. Write a long informative and engaging content that will satisfy the reader. The average first page result on Google contained 1,890 words.

The longer your informative content is, the more time your visitors spend exploring it in depth. Which will ultimately reduce the bounce rate on your website and That will improve your ranking. When you create a high-value resource, people will want to read it, even if it is really long.
Pick a clickable title that demonstrates what your post/business is a bout. Include words such as best, guide, easy, simple. Those words will serve you big time when leading new visitors.
Optimize For Featured Snippets
If you are unfamiliar, “A featured snippet (also called an answer box) is a brief answer to a user’s search query, which is displayed on top of Google search result. It’s extracted from one of the top-ranking pages for that search query and includes the page’s title and URL.”
